Local Meetings

Coffee Talk, Family Connections, and Family Voices meetings offer opportunity to meet and interact with others in your community. Meet families who are committed to meaningful lives for their family members and friends with developmental disabilities. Share stories, gather tips, hints and strategies, discuss challenges, and discover solutions.

Family planned workshops allow you to gather information relating to specific concerns, network with other family members, guardians and professionals, and envision new futures for your loved ones.

Advocacy

From time to time families are faced with dilemmas when thinking about the obstacles to achieving dreams and hopes for their family members with disabilities. CCLS has had twenty years experience with advocacy, family to family support, information, and advocacy, and we are here to assist you. CCLS advocates for community inclusive practices and policies, represents thte interests of families in the Calgary Region, and works collaboratively with other organizations who share common values.
